Bharat Bijlee's management has expressed optimism regarding sustained growth in the Indian economy, underpinned by strategic investments in new manufacturing capabilities, particularly in 400kV class transformers. This expansion is timely, as it aligns with the anticipated surge in demand driven by government infrastructure projects and grid modernization efforts. Additionally, the company is enhancing its electric motors portfolio to capture growth in high-efficiency replacements, although it faces competitive pressures that could impact margins. Vista's financial outlook reflects stable revenue growth and margins, supported by a conservatively financed balance sheet. The expected upside is modest, with a 12-month target price of ₹3,729.36, indicating a fair valuation. Industry dynamics, including the growth of data centers and AI infrastructure, further bolster the outlook, although macroeconomic risks, such as geopolitical tensions, pose potential headwinds. Over the next 12-24 months, key opportunities include leveraging government initiatives for grid expansion and capitalizing on the electric motors market, while watchpoints include competitive pricing pressures and execution risks related to capacity utilization
