Basis of our Recommendation

BSE Limited is navigating a complex regulatory landscape while strategically pivoting towards higher-margin revenue streams, such as derivatives and data monetization. Management's focus on enhancing market participation through platforms like StAR MF and NPS, alongside significant infrastructure upgrades, positions the company for sustained growth. Despite facing regulatory pressures, including STT hikes and RBI guidelines, BSE's operational momentum remains strong, supported by a robust IPO pipeline and increasing foreign institutional participation. Vista's financial outlook anticipates moderate revenue growth tempered by improving margins, with EBITDA margins projected to expand to 71% by FY28E. The favorable regulatory environment and the anticipated liquidity boost from the NSE's listing are expected to enhance BSE's competitive position. Over the next 12-24 months, key opportunities include capturing market share in the cash segment and leveraging new index products, while watchpoints include potential regulatory shifts and rising operational costs. Overall, BSE's strategic initiatives and market dynamics support a positive investment outlook
