Price Performance

Basis of our Recommendation

CAMS has demonstrated robust performance, achieving record quarterly revenues driven by significant growth in its non-mutual fund (non-MF) business, particularly through CAMSPay and alternative investment funds (AIF). Management's focus on technology investments and platform rearchitecture is expected to enhance operational efficiency and customer service, supporting Vista's forecast of accelerating revenue growth beyond historical levels. However, the company faces industry-wide challenges, including a 20% price reduction in the KRA business and potential yield compression in the mutual fund sector due to the rise of passive investments. Despite these headwinds, CAMS is well-positioned to capitalize on digital transformation trends, with future catalysts such as the launch of new transaction origination platforms and additional SIFs expected to drive growth. The stable macro environment in India, characterized by favorable liquidity conditions and regulatory reforms, further supports CAMS' outlook. Over the next 12-24 months, key opportunities include expanding digital infrastructure and maintaining strong margins, while watchpoints include execution risks related to technology integration and regulatory challenges
