Price Performance

Basis of our Recommendation

CIE Automotive India's recent management commentary highlights a bifurcated performance, with strong growth in the Indian market driven by new order wins and capacity expansions, while the European segment faces challenges due to subdued demand and increased competition. The company's focus on quality growth and operational efficiency is expected to support stable margins, despite inflationary pressures. Vista's financial outlook reflects a stable revenue growth trajectory, with margins anticipated to remain consistent, aligning with the company's strategic initiatives. The expected upside is supported by the ongoing transition to electric vehicles, which presents significant opportunities for CIE Automotive India, particularly in the Indian market. However, headwinds from geopolitical tensions and competitive threats in Europe could impact overall performance. Over the next 12-24 months, key opportunities include expanding EV-related product offerings and leveraging new customer contracts, while watchpoints include managing cost inflation and navigating the volatile European market landscape

CIE Automotive India is capitalizing on new order wins and strategic expansions in India, particularly in EV components and BS-VII emission norms forgings, to drive growth. The company is expanding its customer base, including major OEMs, and investing in capacity expansions across various verticals. However, European operations face headwinds from declining demand and increased competition from Chinese OEMs, impacting revenue and profitability. The company plans significant capex to support growth and mitigate risks associated with the European market transition to EVs.
