Price Performance

Basis of our Recommendation

Genus Power Infrastructures is positioned for robust revenue growth, driven by a substantial order book exceeding INR 25,000 crores and the vast untapped smart metering market in India. Management's confidence in long-term growth is bolstered by the successful operational launch of all 24 AMISP projects, which enhances cash flow visibility through recurring O&M revenues. However, the company faces near-term challenges, including margin pressures from rising raw material costs and exchange rate fluctuations, leading to a revised EBITDA margin guidance of 18% for FY27. Despite these headwinds, Genus Power anticipates revenue between INR 6,000-6,500 crores for FY27, supported by strategic diversification into smart gas and water metering and export markets. The current macro environment in India, characterized by strong manufacturing activity and stable inflation, further supports the company's growth outlook. Over the next 12-24 months, key opportunities include expanding into adjacent markets and leveraging its manufacturing capacity, while watchpoints include managing working capital requirements and mitigating margin pressures from fixed-price contracts
