Price Performance

Basis of our Recommendation

Hikal Limited is navigating a pivotal transition towards sustainable growth, bolstered by strategic investments in high-potency facilities and an expanding CDMO pipeline, particularly in light of the China+1 outsourcing trend. Management's focus on diversifying into higher-value specialty chemicals and personal care segments is expected to enhance revenue streams, with new product commercialization anticipated to contribute positively from FY27 onwards. However, challenges persist in the Crop Protection segment due to competitive pricing pressures and structural overcapacity, particularly from Chinese competitors. Despite these headwinds, improved order inflows signal a recovery in demand volumes. Vista's financial outlook reflects stable revenue growth consistent with historical performance, alongside improving margins as operational efficiencies are realized. The company's premium valuation, while indicative of investor confidence, suggests limited upside potential in the near term. Over the next 12-24 months, key opportunities include leveraging new facilities for enhanced production capabilities and expanding into international markets, while watchpoints include ongoing compliance issues and raw material cost pressures that could impact profitability
