Basis of our Recommendation

Indus Towers is navigating a complex landscape characterized by robust demand for 5G infrastructure and strategic geographic expansion into Africa. Management's focus on operational excellence, energy efficiency, and digital transformation is expected to enhance margins and support revenue growth, despite short-term challenges from supply chain volatility and energy costs. The company's strong order book and commitment to a progressive dividend policy reflect confidence in long-term cash flow generation. Vista's forecast anticipates moderate revenue growth of 4-5% CAGR through FY26-29, supported by a stable margin outlook and a fair valuation. However, competitive pressures and execution risks in new markets remain critical watchpoints. Overall, Indus Towers is well-positioned to leverage its market leadership and operational strategies to capture growth opportunities in the evolving telecom landscape over the next 12-24 months

Indus Towers benefits from robust domestic network expansion and strategic entry into Africa, with regulatory approvals and anchor tenant partnerships minimizing execution risks. Strong cash flow generation and a healthy balance sheet support capital allocation for expansion and dividends. However, the company faces margin pressures from energy costs and potential revenue dilution from tenancy mix shifts. Future growth is expected from 5G-led network densification and commercial roll-outs in Africa, with Bharti facilitating faster market entry.
