Basis of our Recommendation

Jubilant Pharmova is navigating a pivotal transition towards high-margin, complex manufacturing and specialized radiopharmaceuticals, as highlighted by management's 'Vision 2030' roadmap aimed at doubling revenues across key segments. The company's aggressive expansion of its US-based sterile injectable capacity is timely, given the increasing demand for domestic manufacturing spurred by the Biosecure Act. However, short-term challenges, including FDA-related remediation at its Montreal facility and competitive pricing pressures in legacy segments, may temper growth. Vista's forecast anticipates low double-digit revenue growth for FY2027, supported by strategic initiatives in high-value biologics and custom manufacturing, which are expected to enhance margins in the latter half of the fiscal year. The macro environment remains favorable, with a stable inflation outlook and strong manufacturing activity in India, further bolstering the company's growth prospects. Over the next 12-24 months, key opportunities include the commercialization of new products and the expansion of the Ruby-Fill franchise, while watchpoints include regulatory approval timelines and execution risks associated with site stabilization
