Karur Vysya Bank's recent strategic pivot towards a RAM-led growth model, focusing on retail, agriculture, and MSME segments, has resulted in double-digit growth in advances and deposits. Management's emphasis on digital transformation and maintaining a conservative risk profile supports Vista's forecast of stable revenue growth and improving margins. The bank's high net interest margin (NIM) of 4.26% and strong asset quality, with low NPAs, further bolster its competitive position. However, challenges such as competitive pressures in the housing loan segment and potential margin compression due to rising deposit costs could impact profitability. Overall, Vista's outlook reflects confidence in the bank's ability to navigate these challenges while capitalizing on growth opportunities, with a target price of approximately 321.72 over the next 24 months. Key opportunities include the expansion of digital banking services and new product offerings, while watchpoints include the management of deposit costs and credit risk in a competitive landscape
