Price Performance

Basis of our Recommendation

Kalpataru Projects International Limited (KPIL) is positioned for sustained growth, driven by a robust order book of INR 666 billion and strategic pivots towards higher-margin sectors such as Buildings & Factories (B&F) and Oil & Gas (O&G). Management's focus on disciplined capital allocation and international expansion, particularly in the Middle East, enhances revenue visibility and competitive positioning. Despite potential geopolitical risks and supply chain challenges, the company's strong execution capabilities and diversified portfolio support Vista's forecast of stable margins and attractive valuation, with an expected upside of 38.33%. The infrastructure sector's recovery, bolstered by government initiatives and increased private investment, further underpins KPIL's growth trajectory. Over the next 12-24 months, key opportunities include capitalizing on the global T&D investment surge and urbanization trends, while watchpoints include execution risks and geopolitical uncertainties that could impact project timelines and profitability

Analysts' Viewpoint
Kalpataru Projects International's robust order book and strategic expansion into high-margin international markets, particularly in the Middle East, drive analyst optimism. The company's focus on backward integration and capability building in complex projects supports its growth trajectory. However, analysts note execution risks due to geopolitical tensions and supply chain constraints, particularly in the Middle East. Future catalysts include expected large O&G project awards and potential new data center contracts, which could further bolster growth.
