Price Performance

Basis of our Recommendation

Lenskart Solutions is navigating a pivotal growth phase, driven by management's strategic focus on omnichannel expansion and premiumization. Recent earnings calls highlight a successful transition towards a higher-margin model, with significant volume growth and margin expansion across both domestic and international operations. The company's commitment to enhancing its physical footprint, particularly in Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets, positions it well for sustained revenue growth. Vista's financial outlook reflects this momentum, projecting improved margins and stable revenue growth, albeit at a moderated pace compared to historical performance. The current valuation suggests expectations of continued long-term growth, although it leaves limited room for error. Industry dynamics, including a recovering retail sector and improving pricing power, further support Lenskart's outlook. However, execution risks, particularly in talent management and customer experience, remain critical watchpoints. Over the next 12-24 months, Lenskart's key opportunities lie in expanding its smart eyewear line and leveraging technology for operational efficiencies, while headwinds include potential supply-side constraints and the challenge of maintaining high same-store sales growth

Analysts' Viewpoint
Lenskart's strong Q1 FY27 performance is underpinned by significant volume growth and margin expansion, facilitated by deep supply chain integration and a premiumization strategy. Analysts highlight the company's focus on operational productivity and in-house manufacturing, aiming for a 25% EBITDA margin. Expansion into untapped Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets presents long-term growth potential. However, high valuation multiples and supply chain constraints pose risks, with execution and maintaining customer experience being critical as the company scales. The 'B by Lenskart' smart eyewear line and international expansion are seen as key future catalysts.
