Price Performance

Basis of our Recommendation

LG Electronics India is positioned for robust growth, driven by a dual strategy of premiumization and volume expansion, particularly through its 'Essential Series'. Management's focus on operational efficiencies and cost discipline is expected to enhance margins, while the upcoming Sri City facility will bolster production capacity and support export initiatives. The company's optimistic outlook is underpinned by strong demand for large-screen TVs and energy-efficient appliances, aligning with evolving consumer preferences. Despite facing competitive pressures and potential input cost inflation, LG's strategic priorities, including increased localization and a focus on high-margin B2B segments, are expected to sustain revenue growth and improve profitability. Vista's forecast reflects an anticipated acceleration in revenue growth beyond historical trends, with margins expected to improve as operational efficiencies take hold. The favorable macro environment, characterized by improving growth indicators, supports this outlook, although inflationary pressures remain a concern. Over the next 12-24 months, key opportunities include expanding market share in premium segments and enhancing export capabilities, while watchpoints include input cost volatility and competitive intensity
