Price Performance

Basis of our Recommendation

Patanjali Foods' management has expressed confidence in the company's ability to navigate current geopolitical and inflationary pressures, emphasizing a strategic focus on expanding its high-margin home and personal care (HPC) segment and enhancing its domestic oil palm plantation operations. This aligns with the 'Atmanirbhar Bharat' initiative, which aims to bolster self-reliance in agriculture. Despite facing seasonal softness in staples and ghee, management anticipates a recovery, supported by brand innovation and operational efficiency. Vista's financial outlook reflects moderating revenue growth, with stable margins expected amidst rising commodity costs. The company's low leverage structure enhances financial stability, although recent trading indicates cautious investor sentiment. The FMCG sector's expansion, driven by volume growth and strategic price adjustments, provides a favorable backdrop, despite competitive pricing pressures. Over the next 12-24 months, key opportunities include leveraging e-commerce strategies and brand loyalty, while watchpoints include potential supply disruptions from El Nino and ongoing commodity volatility. Overall, Vista's forecast suggests a cautious approach, with a target price of approximately 439.02, reflecting a modest expected upside of 0.20%
